Julie began her career with Midpoint in 1997 by working for Midpoint's warehouse provider as an administrative assistant. At that time, she concentrated on the Midpoint Trade Books account and her responsibilities focused on marketing (catalogs, BEA, and ads) as well as operations, finance, and inventory control.
Midpoint Trade Books hired her in 2004, and since then her responsibilities have continued to evolve and expand. She is currently the Director of Distribution Services. In this capacity, she oversees all operational aspects of Midpoint (which includes orders, shipping, receiving, and returns), and serves as the primary liaison between Midpoint and our warehouse provider. She also oversees much of the data functions at Midpoint as well as ebook conversion and distribution. Her career highlights (so far) include managing a warehouse move of 3 million units and implementing Midpoint's order entry and inventory management system.
Julie lives in the Kansas City metro area with her husband, two children, and a dog named Luna.
