Chris Bell is one of the founders of Midpoint and part owner since 1996. He has been involved in both sales management and book retailing for the past 40 years. He developed his retail merchandising and marketing skills through ten years experience with Waldenbooks, working both in the field as a store manager and as a buyer for the entire chain out of Stamford CT. After ten years with Waldenbooks, Chris went on to become a sales manager for several publishers, including American Map Co., Avon Books and Pocketbooks.
Prior to starting Midpoint, Chris spent 10 years selling national accounts as an independent sales manager and consultant for Sunset Publishing, Oxmoor House, Time Life Custom Publishing, Leisure Arts, and National Textbook, representing books and programs to all national, retail and wholesale accounts.
